A Brief History
Bryan Ashmore is married to Aly and they have two cats; Hazel and Pearl and a dog; Lucy. Based in Southern California they are part of ‘Synergy Church’ with pastor Bruce Greene. This is the second mobile church plant Bryan has been involved with, having previously been on the team for The Ridge in North Oxnard, CA. Says Bryan, “We’ve been part of the Synergy team for about a year now – and have really enjoyed journeying with Bruce and the community. We’ve had some exciting adventures together – and are now on a new one together, with Synergy Church.”
Bryan has been leading worship and ministering through music since the age of 15, starting a worship band for youth in High School, traveling across the United States and Canada with Azusa Pacific University Choir and Orchestra, interning at a South Bay church in college and eventually accepting a full time position in Ventura, CA. In addition to local church ministry, Bryan has intentionally pursued involvement in secular non-profit organizations including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in order to broaden his connection with larger society.
Bryan is also the co-author of ‘My Lover Is Mine’, a book which re-imagines the ancient text of The Song Of Solomon.

Laundry Love Projects partner with local laundromats in cleaning the clothes of those living in shelters, motels, cars, garages and on the streets. It is our mission to take laundromats and convert them into hubs of relief, granting reprieve to those living in oppressive poverty through aid in education, basic medical care and assistance in job and housing placement.
The Mentoring Project seeks to respond to the American crisis of fatherlessness by inspiring and equipping faith communities to mentor fatherless boys.
